Past Envirothon, 2002

The fifth annual Utah Envirothon was held at Dinosaur National Monument near Vernal, Utah. The current issue was introduced species and their effect on biodiversity.

Winning team: Logan High School from Logan, Utah, sponsored by the North Cache Soil Conservation District
Advisor: Jack Greene

Our winning team traveled to Amherst, Mass., to Hampshire College to compete in the Canon Envirothon where they placed 16 out of 49 teams.

Team members are (clockwise top to bottom) Katie Trieu, Erika Neely, Mark Sailor, advisor Jack Greene, Cassey Anderson and Jenna Forsyth.

Winning FFA team: Manila High School in Manila, Utah, sponsored by the Daggett Soil Conservation District

Our winning team traveled to Louisville, Kentucky, to represent the state at the National FFA Competition in the Environmental & Natural
Resources Career Development Event.
